Hello Pantera Booster Club Members,

It is hard to believe that football season is coming to a close! The girl’s half time and pep rally performances have been outstanding! I do not think anything will compete though with the “Surfin’ USA” number, the crowd is still talking about it. Way to go Panteras, Mr. Doyle (surfboards), Mrs. Alvarado (skirts) and Mrs. Woodruff.

This is a difficult and tiring time of year…football tryouts and games, choreography workshops, posters, SAT’s, college applications for seniors, fund-raising, auction, etc. Please know that you made it through the toughest part and congratulate your Pantera. It is a hard part of the year, but they are great kids and it shows. Thank you to all you parents that support them through this.

Laurie Turner, Cathy Williams and their committee have been working overtime to have the best auction ever. Don’t forget, this Saturday, November 8 is the big day. We need all the support from the parents that day, and try to bring friends and neighbors, to make this evening a success. The more people there, the more fun it is. Thanks to everyone for turning in their items and raffle tickets, we are almost there!

Information on end of year banquet gifts: Since we decided to do the scrapbook pages for the girls, some of you asked for information on the albums. Ruth Stuckey Miller has offered to get 9x12” albums at cost (approx. $25) for those of you who would need or desire them. This would be your cost since the Booster Club cannot afford to buy for all and some of you may just want the pages. If you want one, please check the bottom so Ruth can order them. Questions please e-mail or call Ruth at ruth.miller@gcisd.net or 817-358-4705.

WOODRUFF WORDS

Dear Pantera Family,

What an amazing few months it has been at CHHS! New school, new faculty, new dance team, new parents, and new administrative procedures. What joy it has been in meeting all of these new challenges and finding amazing people along the way who are a part if the CHHS and Pantera family! There are so many special programs going on at CHHS, and I feel honored to be a part of it, in my opinion, the most special program of all, PANTERAS!

The Panteras are a VERY talented group of young ladies who uphold high standards in not only their dancing but also in academics and other extra-curricular activities in and out of school.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the girls and helping to uphold their high standards of excellence.

As a phenomenal football season comes to a close, I would like to thank the Panteras for their dedication and hard work, the officers and social officers for the extra time they spending in helping me run the program, and ALL the parents for their time spent fund raising, cleaning out closets, cleaning out the dance gym, making props, ect…. Parents, your endless hours of time and dedication to Panteras are greatly appreciated and never given enough applause.

Thank you all for accepting me into your Pantera Family!

Sincerely,

Kelly Woodruff
Premier Pantera Director
